The Medieval Heritage- Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh!

A historic city admired for its beautiful temples, Khajuraho in the State of Madhya Pradesh is located in the woody planes of Bundelkhand region. This city is one among the biggest tourist attractions in North India and has been rightly called as the symbol of the medieval heritage. The temples here present a wonderful blend of architectural and sculptural sheerness, representing one of the outstanding examples of Indian art. Some of the famous must see temples are the Kandariya Mahadev, Chausat Yogini dedicated to Kali, then there’s Vishwanath Temple, the fine Chaturbhuj Temple that has a massive intricately carved image of Vishnu in the sanctum, and many more of such temples. Apart from the temples, there are other excursions like Panna National Park, the so called Gharial Haven that is situated just 25 kms away from Khajuraho. Pandav Falls is located on Panna Road and is around 34 km away from Khajuraho making an excellent scenic spot for the tourists. Raneh Falls that is located at around 20 km away from Khajuraho. Like Pandav falls even these make a beautiful picnic spot on River Ken.
