The Pink City holds the Elephant Festival every year on the day of Holi Eve. Even though camel is the symbol of Rajasthan, the Elephant is linked to the Royalty of the state and Indian Culture.

This day sees various Elephants in an elegant attire with decorated trunks and tusks march along in a parade. The festival has various events like Elephant polo where riders with different coloured turbans enthusiastically play polo with a long stick and a plastic football to score goals. Other events include the best decorated Elephant, Elephant races, Tug of war with humans on one side and an Elephant on the other and many more. There is also an Exhibition, exhibiting the decorative material that goes in to make the Elephants look this Royal. The one- day long festival also witnesses some amazing Folk dances of Rajasthan giving the day a traditional touch.

So go on and book your trip to the Pink City to witness the Elephant Festival and the Pre- Holi Bash.
