Pelling , situated at 2,085 m above sea level is a laid back but a rapidly swelling hamlet in Sikkim. It is famous for the closest view of the snow- capped mountain of Kangchenjunga, the third highest peak in the World located in the mountain range of the Himalayas.

The journey to Pelling makes is as good as its destination. You travel on winding roads passing by a mix of green mountains and deep valleys. Through the way, you will find yourself surrounded by Pine trees.

Other than the Himalayan range view you have list of other things to see.  You can visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of premier monasteries of Sikkim, the Khecheopalri lake – one of the sacred lakes of Sikkim. The serenity of the Khechopari lake is maintained by the birds where the falling leaves in the lake are picked up instantly by them. The Rimbi falls and the Kanchenjunga falls are also another attraction of the small town. The Singshore Bridge is also at a small distance from Pelling. The bridge is the second highest bridge in Asia and has been selected to start Bungee Jumping soon. The place is a complete mix of geography, nature and culture.
